Meet the team

This is the current team for trans pride Winchester. You'll see us working behind the scenes to try and facilitate whatever events, stands and other activism we can.

If you're interested in volunteering, the link below will take you to a form where you can volunteer!

Alora

[They/She]

Hi! I'm Alora and I founded Trans Pride Winchester with the help of Phoebe as I am a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and want to create a positive, social space for the local trans and queer community. I have been contacting the local council in order to make our 2024 event possible. I am also a cat lover and music nerd.

Phoebe

[They/She]

Hello! I'm Phoebe, I'm a genderqueer individual who helped Alora found this organisation! I believe that it is very important to create a supportive community to help trans people in the area, as well as to advocate for the lives of trans+ people as much as possible. I tend to prefer working behind the scenes, however that's not to say you won't ever see me around!

Robin

[They/Them]

Hi, I’m Robin. I am originally from York, but I am loving Winchester. I work in education. I love running, basketball, history and art.

Lucy

[She/Her]

My name is Lucy. I am a teacher and a mum of two. I grew up in London but have lived in Winchester for the last 10 years. My eldest is a member of the LGBTQ+ and I think it would be wonderful to bring trans pride to Winchester.

Kate

[She/Her]

Hi! I'm Kate, I'm a mental health student nurse and a social care worker, as well as a parent to a trans teen. I believe that diversity gives our lives flavour and that it should be celebrated. Every person has the right to live their life to the fullest, in a way that makes them happy! Oh also, I'm a book worm and love cats...
